Finnaly folks i got my Raask exhaust system yesterday. Let's do it step by step. It was in the delivery timeline so i can't complain about that. I even got a baseball cap saying "loud pipes saves lives - By RAASK" ) chrome plate riveted on black cap. The only thing i didn't like was the packing, the pipe could have been damaged but it wasn't. Now for the pipe itself. The pipe is incredebly good looking and even got a small RAASK engraved at the end of the pipe. The chrome is perfectly good looking and seems to be in a good quality chrome. Ahter you see the welding, it is so thick and strong that it makes the pipe seems even better quality. The installment is flawless and only someone with no talent (wich i am by the way) for mechenics would have trouble. You remove the old exhaust system (yes you have to remove the footpegs heatshield), you put the new pipe, screw it to the motor head, take one bolt thru the old muffler stand (near rear wheel) and in the end of the pipe, replace everything back in and you are done. The only thing that gave me trouble was getting back the motor head holder out from the old exhaust system. Of course you have to remove the slip on and the 2 pieces were so rusted that they were almost fused together. NOW the fun part... the sound... awesome... sorry i have no other word. Yes, it is loud for urban city (at least for north american city). The thing is that as soon as you pull the clutch it's quiet. The idle doesn't make that much sound, but as soon as you turn that handle... damn is it loud. The sound is more rumbling and i've seen posts with the pop pop, and the puff puff sound debates. One thing i am sure... i doesn't make pop pop anymore. The sound is realy interesting, i didn't think it would affect the sound quality that much. I don't know but if it ever happened to you that someone looked at you or said "savages are for sissys" well they won't anymore cause the sound that comes from those pipes are quite intimidating. That'S it i think that wraps it up but rebember that is my first impression and if ever something comes up i will post on it. i will try to post a link to a movie of my bike with those pipes
